I’m proud to share that I’ve officially graduated from the USC Marshall School of Business Executive MBA program – and what an unforgettable two years it has been.

This journey was not easy. It was bitter work, but the results were worth it.  Long nights, jam-packed weekends, Monday and Tuesday classes, and countless hours of collaboration, presentations, and analysis, but looking back now, all I feel is gratitude. Gratitude for the challenge, for the people, and for what we’ve accomplished together.

The People Made the Program

From day one, I was surrounded by a cohort of incredible minds – people who are not only smart and accomplished but deeply passionate and engaged. Over two years, we became a unit. We didn’t just learn together – we traveled the world, shared meals, cheered each other on through presentations and deadlines, and built something that felt like a second family.

Every other weekend, every Monday and Tuesday night, every case study and final – all of it was made better by the people beside me. I feel so fortunate to have had that experience.

Special Thanks to Team C.H.E.E.R.S.

A huge shoutout to my capstone team:
Alex Medved, Sean Pierce, Shirley Pu, Nicholas Kobus, Joe Coba, Fannie Leung, Soe Win, and Carlo Alcazar.

We were a truly eclectic group, and that diversity of thought and experience made every project richer. I’ve never been part of a more trustworthy, committed, and high-performing team. I knew that no matter what was on the table, each of you would show up with excellence, ownership, and a sense of humor. Working with you was a privilege, and I learned so much from all of you. I will carry that with me long after graduation.

Behind the Scenes: Thank You, Debra

Another heartfelt thank-you goes to Debra Ono, our administrative MVP throughout the program. She was always there when we needed help – quick to respond, supportive, and endlessly patient. Every program needs someone like Debra, and we were lucky to have her. Thank you for everything!

What’s Next?

Graduating feels a little bittersweet. On the one hand, I’m excited to reclaim my nights and weekends, but on the other, I know these shared moments with my classmates will become fewer and farther between. Still, the memories, lessons, and relationships built during this program are going to stick with me – personally and professionally – for life.

To my fellow graduates in USC EMBA Class of 2024:
Congratulations! I can’t wait to see what we all do next.

Fight on!
